Dr.B.R.Ambedkar Polytechnic College, Yanam was established during the academic year 1996-97 which is one among the five polytechnic colleges in Puducherry state sponsored by the Government of Puducherry. Dr.B.R.Ambedkar Polytechnic College holds a special place in the Puducherry polytechnic system
